Shadow Clock or “Shadow Clock”, where the shadow turns into a texture, color or pattern. The work comes from a larger collection inspired by 2D drawings that have been transformed into 3D. Just as in a 2D drawing, spatiality is expressed by shading, shadows are also captured on these objects, but in a happier way than the usual gloomy shadow. The artist wants to show shadows in a new way, highlighting them as a pattern, color or texture, opening the viewer’s mind to the surroundings, how much life consists of shadows. The shape comes from the archetypal mantel clock.
